For couples, I integrate research-backed methods from the Gottman approach, in which I am Level 1 trained. The Gottman Method is based on decades of research into what makes relationships thrive. In intimate relationships, understanding polarity—the dance of masculine and feminine energies—can be a powerful tool for deeper connection. What’s Included?

Individual Counselling

This includes:

  • 60 minute session

  • Assessment and intake

  • Goal setting

  • Recommended action steps

  • Handouts and other resources

  • Email support in-between sessions if needed

  • Telehealth available

Investment:

$110 for 60 minutes

FAQ’S

  • The first session is a history and assessment intake. We must do this to find the root cause to the issues you are experiencing, as well as anything else that might come up.

  • The conversation between counsellor and client is private and confidential. The only time confidentiality may be broken is when you are at risk of harm to yourself or others.

  • This will depend on the issue being presented. We can talk about how many sessions you may need once we do our history intake together.

  • Unfortunately not. Medicare at this time doesn’t cover counselling.

  • Being comfortable and feeling a level of trust with your counsellor is an important part of the process. If we are not matched, then we will discontinue our sessions together and a referral can be made to another counsellor.

  • Again, this will depend on the issue being presented. Either weekly or fortnightly is recommended generally.

  • Yes, for both self and plan managed participants. If you have the Improved Daily Living Skills in your plan you may be eligible to claim through NDIS. Before we start, please provide us with your NDIS number, details for your plan manager and support coordinator, and information regarding how payment will be made for sessions.
