Non-toxic Bath Salts (5 minutes)

I adore homemade gifts. I find them so special and thoughtful and I know I’m not the only one who loves receiving them.

I created this one on Mothers’ Day and it was well received.

If you know my work, you know that I love to empower women to take more time for themselves.

Unfortunately in our society, there’s a narrative about women having to ‘do it all’, from mothering, to cleaning, to cooking, to making social arrangements and so on!

Giving a gift like this not only encourages much needed self-care, but while doing so, helps detoxify the body using epsom and pink himalayan salts.

These salts help draw out toxins from the body while relaxing in a warm tub!

Ingredients:

2 cups epsom salts

1 cup pink himalayan salt

20 drops lavender essential oil

3 tablespoons dried flowers (optional but looks pretty)

Method:

Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix together until combined.

Transfer to a glass jar and voila!

Perfect gift for Mum or yourself!
