Vegan Bbq Sauce

I made this for a slider recipe I have coming up! This sauce is so good, you won’t miss the bottled version.

As most of you would know, it’s all in the sauce and this one doesn’t disappoint.

Ingredients:

½ cup tomato paste

½ lemon, juiced

⅓ cup water

1 tbsp maple syrup

1 heaped tbsp chickpea miso

1 tsp mustard powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp onion powder

Method:

Place a small saucepan on low-medium and combine all the ingredients. Whisk until smooth and bring to a simmer.

Cook for about 10 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.

Transfer to a small bowl or glass jar.
